In Public Schools, Get Religion Right Before The Fight

Antonio Peck was in kindergarten in 1999 when his family filed suit against the Baldwinsville, N.Y., school district. Antonio is in 10th grade now — and his family is still waiting for the case to be resolved. At this rate, he’ll be a college graduate when the courts finally render a decision. On Oct. 15, the Peck family’s legal marathon took another turn when a federal appeals court heard oral

Pentagon Aims To Recruit More Chaplains

For much of the previous year, the Rev. Joe Porpiglia had a grueling routine— and he wasn’t even running his parish of St. Benedict’s in Eggertsville. The native of Dunkirk was in Afghanistan as a U. S. chaplain, racing across a rugged and war-torn landscape in massive helicopters and transport planes, celebrating Mass and bringing the sacraments to thousands of soldiers, but also offering counsel

'Devil Worshipper’ Retort May Burn Employer

Like many people, Gina Uberti wanted to take time off from work for a religious holiday. Unlike most Connecticut workers, her religion is Wicca, the largest of the neo-pagan, earth-based faiths. Wiccans worship multiple deities, use magic in their rituals, adhere to a basic code of morality, and hold four major seasonally based festivals. Uberti attended one of those festivals last October.

Prehistoric Burial Ground Found On Skye

A prehistoric burial ground has been discovered on Skye. Six slab-lined graves and six cremation pits have been unearthed on the excavation site close to Armadale pier on the Sleat peninsula. Experts say it is one of the most significant archaeological finds yet made in the Highlands. Flint tools and urns were found inside the graves, although skeletal remains had been damaged due to the tid

Welcome to the PaganMystics Community

Céad míle fáilte romhat (100,000 welcomes to you) to PaganMystics. We are a new community building from an older forum, Paganism today, is an umbrella term of sorts, and is usually used to describe someone who believes in many varied gods and goddesses, or even one Goddess and God.

Here at PaganMystics we will work together to create awareness of these many paths, as well as provide our members with accurate, historical and modern material for a further study on the many paths "Paganism" has to offer.

So let the many pathways be opened, and let us gather at the great crossroads. If you'd walk the paths with us, then let us each put away the Truth of the World and find the Land Beyond the Waves, dance the twofold pathway on one leg, and let the Hidden Ones come!!!

Walking the Red Road November 9

Those who know how to play can easily leap over the adversities of life. And one who knows how to
sing and laugh never brews mischief.
