Céad míle fáilte romhat (100,000 welcomes to you) to our community
of PaganMystics! We are writing this page, to open up and let our
members get to know what sort of site we're hoping to build for our
members.
Now - a little something about the administration. I am known by
many names across the Internet. Fool Coyote, Senbecc, An Daghdha,
and Samildanach. I am an Irish Traditionalist and Celtic
Reconstructionist. While I do find allot of interest in all
religion and philosophy, my own practice is strictly Celtic, with a
specifically Irish thrust. I suppose I was about 16 when I began to
study the Irish Faery Faith with a group in Arkansas, which I
stayed on until I moved to S.D. in 1998, when I was accepted into
the Grove of An Daghdha and became the standing Ollamh in 2007.
Your great creation Goddess, is known as Lady Anastasia, or
commonly the "lala". This community site was her idea, and most of
what you see on the site is of her making and compiling. In her own
words she will tell you she is, "lala, self proclaimed Queen of all
she foresees', Priestess of Random, and Creation Goddess." She
leans toward Celtic spirituality, animal magic and totem work,
oracles, and Shinto studies. All should adhere to her
motto...."Purpley is good".
PaganMystics began as a simple forum in 2005, with a mass banning
from another site. Since then, we have tried to provide our members
of all paths with accurate information, whether it be ancient, or
modern. We now consider our older forum to be our
Archives
board. There is allot of information there for those who would
like to go there and read, and members are perfectly welcome to
bring anything they would like to discuss back to this site.
Here at the PaganMystics community, we are not only working to keep
true to the ideals we started with as far as good information,
debate, and discussion, we are also working to make more of a
community typed atmosphere.
Some of the ways we hope to accomplish this is by the blogging
features, more complete profiling, as well as community discussion.
The human spirit can be as diverse as the animals in nature, and
the paths it can walk can be as myriad as the stars in the sky.
From Wicca, to Druidism, from the Native American to the Eclectic,
we strive to offer discussion on all things that expand awareness
of the many paths that define Paganism today.
Aside from the aforementioned, Mystics now offers some new features
to help in navigation and familiarization of our community. One of
these is our toolbar which can be downloaded at the following:
As well, PaganMystics is working on our first online store, designs
for mystics, made by Mystics, our merchandise can be located
at:
