Homespun Pagans

A tidy group for those of us doing our best to live off the grid, on our own, making what we need in the ways we like. This is a place to teach, to learn, to talk, to find solutions to our challenges, and to let others know how to make it work.

Even though I live in an appartment I do what I can since having limited income. I dumpster hunt alot and have furnished my whole place that way. Also fix things up I find then sell them at flea markets. During the summer months I'm like a wandering gypsy. Most of my incomes from the dumpster and so do my inventions. I'm always trying to find ways to make things I cannot afford to buy.

Hail and welcome, Donna! Thanks for your interest in the group. I agree about winter not meaning stagnation, but there are times when fatigue sets in and I just get lazy! Enjoy things, feel free to contribute anything that seems needed, and I look forward to hearing more from you! Personally, I'm SOOOO looking foward to getting my plot tilled because my little one and I have plans in place and seeds on order! Woot!

Hello Everyone,
I just joined the group and I'm glad to be here. Was wondering if anyone is gearing up for spring planting yet? Have you ordered seeds? Is your garden plot clear of snow yet?

Would like to see this group active again. Just because it's winter doesn't mean there is not still plenty to do and discuss about the homestead :)
Goddess Bless,
Donna

How did everyone's garden do this year? The weather has been weird in my neck of the woods and lots of folks around here are suffering from blossom-end rot and other things. How'd your plot do?

Nice to meet everyone! I have a small place in the country with herb and veggie gardens already and am working towards getting chickens, hopefully bees too, and solar panels are on my wishlist, as I try to live a more simple life. This is nice to know others are like minded. Blessings
