Hi Magikat, I swear by heirlooms! Have always in the past 15-17 years used about 90% heirlooms. Last year I made the mistake of not getting my seeds started in time. So we bought all hybrid plants for the garden as we started late and could not fin…

Anyone have any idea why when I signed in today I had someone else's Playlist embedded in my page? My Playlist is gone, and POOF! somebody named jzbeattie's Playlist in there instead. I'm very confused.

Whitering said:Witch Credentails. Right. So, now to be a reconized witch you have to go to witch school and get a deploma and frame it and then hang the shingle outside your office, house, tree, shurb? And if you don't go to the "right" witch school…

About Me
I'm 45 y/o and happily married to an awesome man going on 25 years this November. We plan to renew our vows in Jamaica. We have two incredible kids that I'm very proud of and 4 amazing grandchildren; 1 biological and 3 step. I live in eastern Washington state on 10 rural acres abundant in wildlife along with a mixed menagerie of fir, feathered and fin kids.
Beliefs and Practices- Please be Detailed
I've been an out of the broom closet pagan for about 8 years, but a pagan in heart for as long as I can remember. I knew from the time I was a little girl based on the dreams I would have and the visions I would see, that I was different from others. I'm Empathic and Psychic with strong Precognitive skills. I've also had a very strong interest in anything paranormal since I was a small child. Having had many paranormal encounters that started at a very early age. So, I'm also an Investigator and Psy-Sensitive with Spirit Whispers Paranormal Investigations . I read tarot and cast runes but mostly for personal and family use. I'm not one for the labels that society feels the need for, so when asked what path I follow, which I feel is as personal and unique as the individual him/herself, I simply say, "I'm a rock freak who's a dirt worshiping, tree hugging, God/Goddess loving pagan. If you need a label for it, figure one out yourself." Since a young age, I've had a tendency to say what's on my mind most of the time. This has gotten me into trouble more often than not. Especially in church as a little girl when my parents forced me to go, lol. Needless to say, I don't have allot of friends beating a path to my door because of this. But the few that I do have know me well and know that I'm always honest with them. And they help keep my feet on the ground and my mouth from getting decked! And we treasure one another. Now if only my daughters mouth wasn't so much like her mothers.

Anything of the subjects of the paranormal, alternative healing, ancient cultures and societies

Likes
I enjoy most anything that involves being outdoors and connecting with the earth. Spending time in the yard with my plants, or by the huge pond that my husband built for me. I love watching the birds come in nightly to bathe in the waterfall.
I feel closest to nature and Spirit when I'm mixing herbs, salves, soaps, lotions, syrups and tinctures or creating amulet bags for healing. Or when I'm working in my garden, hands in the dirt, in direct contact with Mother Nature.
I've a strong love of mixing things, chemistry/alchemy. Therefore I was drawn many, many years ago to the art of soapmaking. I have owned a bath & body business in some capacity for the past 13 years. For the more mundane customer base I offer Valhalla Soap Company. For the more spiritual/pagan/goddess centered mindset, I offer Sacred Sisters Bath Co. Which is very dear to my heart as it gives me more freedom to express my true nature. And connect with Goddess through something that I love; soapmaking!

I also love to travel with my husband. Our favorite places being hiking every year in the red rocks of Sedona. Snorkeling Molokai Reef in Hawaii and snorkeling in Jamaica.
And I love to read! Fiction or Non, it doesn't matter. I love to learn new things so my library is filled with lots of non-fiction. And I love anything paranormal so it's also filled with both fiction and non-fiction books on paranormal subjects.
Dislikes
Those who prey on others for their own gain, especially on children. Spammers! LOL. Corrupt Government! Yes We Can!.....CHANGE!!! Wastefullness....of food, money, fuel, land, water, resources, Those who do not make some attempt at recycling. It starts with me!
What's one thing you'd like to be remembered for when you pass?
That I was there, in the dark, with open arms, a healing spirit and unconditional love for the unloved, cast aside, misunderstood beings on this planet.
What Do You Expecte to Get out of This Site?
I supposed just the fellowship of like minded adults, emphasis on the Adults part. I find most social hubs to be very childish and prone to drama.

Constant Tests

As I try to take on a new attitude of peace and thankfulness now that I'm home, I find that I'm tested constantly. I;ve often heard the saying, don't pray for patience or you will find yourself tested with situations in which you need LOTS of it. Well, I have suddenly found that to be true with anything you ask for through prayer.

While visiting a Stupa in Sedona, I spent quite some time walking and praying, asking for peace to be in my heart, peace for mankind, peace for the world. I asked for… Continue

Heading Home with a Fearful Heart

I have to say that my two weeks here in Sedona has been amazing. Life changing really. It has been a time of remarkable peace. My heart and mind have had the time to rest from all the grief and darkness that I find are constantly battering me on the homefront. And home it is a constant battle to not just give in to the darkness. To walk the way of the darkness is so very, very appealing when I'm at home. But here in Sedona my spirit is light, and it is easy to feel joy in the little things. Ever… Continue

The Gallows Dream

This is a Blog Response to Whiterings blog post titled Questions. It is a dream that I had many years ago that re-enforced my belief in reincarnation.

I find myself standing up on a platform looking out over a grassy field that ends in cliffs along the sea. The clean, salty, brine smell of salt march and heather was is pleasant to my nose. Before and slightly below me is an angry crowd of people. Some are wearing the clothing… Continue

The Return

As is my normal morning routine, I sat in a dimly lit living room this morning with my coffee and shuffled the cards. Feeling them begin to warm in my hands. Listening to the hypnotic purring sound of the shuffling, shuffling, shuffling until it feels right. Until I hear them say to me "it's time, that's good, you can stop now". And I fanned them out on the coffee table. Closing my eyes, I run my dominant hand over them. Back and forth, back and forth. Listening. Waiting for them to tell me to "… Continue

Frayed & Tattered

Do you ever just feel like you are coming apart at the seams? Like your a rope that is coming unwound? Frayed at the ends? Becoming more, tattered and unraveled as the days go on? Hate to say it, but I hope so. Because if not, then I'm alone in my dark night. In my time of struggle. Because this is how I have felt for the last few months. I'm finding myself face to face with a demon of gigantic proportions. A demon that I never thought I'd have to face again. One I thought was long gone. It is t… Continue

Hi, thanks for connecting with me! Kauai is beautiful and energetically intense. I have lived here for over 25 years and do love it. however I have a special connection to Washington and try to visit my friends on the penninsula atleast once a year. As far as making hydrosol--its the most rewarding and fun thing ive ever done! I would highly recommend getting a still of your own. Most people use copper however I have 2 stainless steel stills. I like stainless better because I like to avoid remnant copper in my infusions. If you have any questions about the process feel free to contact me anytime.
Aloha,
Aloha
