The story of Cura
Concerning the soul and body of man and the origin of both, also this story has been told: Cura, they say, fashioned a man out of mud and asked Zeus to give him life. The god granted his request, but forbade her to call man afte...
Actually I have run across atheist Pagans... Which gets back to what Brendan was alluding to, how "Pagan" is defined, it is a slippery, amorphous blob of a label. Paganism is all things to all people, except when it is not, sums it up pretty nicel...
Many stories in the media regarding Pagan events, perspective, etc are considered 'fluff' or 'local color' and the like. They are rarely considered to be a serious subject and so are not given as much journalistic credence as say a big news story ...

I've been involved in Pagan spirituality for over a decade. I am a member of the Fálachas tradition of Celtic Reconstructionism. I honor the old Gods of Ireland, my ancestors and the spirits of the land. I consider myself a hard polytheist, and as such tend towards a more pluralistic outlook on things. I have an BA in History, and currently work in a book store. I'm also a huge Geek (especially when it comes to graphic literature) and will talk your ear off about nearly anything that interests me.
